Recruitment unit is hosting a Career Expo at Los Angeles Southwest College to highlight the diversity of assignments and employment opportunities available on our department.  There will be exhibits from various units, bureaus, and divisions throughout the department.  We are seeking your help in encouraging friends and family, whom you believe will honor and respect what the badge represents, to attend this event.

Attendees will have the opportunity to take a written examination for the Deputy Sheriff Trainee position at 1130 hours.

DATE:                             SATURDAY, DECEMBER 5, 2015

LOCATION:                   Los Angeles Southwest College

                                        1600 West Imperial Highway

                                         Los Angeles, CA. 90047

TIME:                              Career Expo runs from 0900 hours until 1100 hours

                                         Written exam begins at 1130 hours.

REQUIREMENTS:

                       All applicants must

·         be at least 19 ½ years old at the time of the test

·         have a valid Driver License,

·         have a U.S. High school diploma from a qualified School or a           G.E.D. 

·         be a U.S. Citizen (or a permanent resident who has applied               for citizenship)

·         have no felony convictions.

All applicants MUST present a valid Driver License in order to participate in the written exam.
