Ninety Miles per Hour Traffic Stop Yields Three Arrests
Putnam County—This morning at 10:15, Indiana State Police Trooper Yan Dravigne stopped a blue 2003 Pontiac car for traveling 90 miles-per-hour in a 70 mph zone eastbound I-70 near the 37 mile marker.
During conversations with the driver and passengers, Trooper Dravigne noticed several indicators of possible criminal activity. Putnam County Sheriff’s Deputy Captain Dwight Simmons and K-9 “Beau” arrived to assist and “Beau” gave a positive alert to the odor of illegal drugs. A search of the vehicle yielded three bags of synthetic drugs (K-2 or Spice), less than one gram of Methamphetamine, two Schedule IV controlled substance pills, seven syringes, scales and other paraphernalia.
Arrested: Robert Moss, age 33, Paducah, Kentucky (Driver)
Ashley Cavitt, age 24, Paducah, Kentucky
Charles Rodgers, 23, Paducah
Charges for all three: Possession of Meth, Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Synthetic Drug, and Possession of Syringe.
All three incarcerated in the Putnam County Jail.
The trio was reportedly traveling from Paducah, Kentucky to Chicago, Illinois and wrongfully entered eastbound I-70.

Under the Law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
