An intoxicated woman leads deputies on a vehicle pursuit after violating a restraining order

Date/Time Occurred: Sunday, November 22, 2015 / 7:54 p.m.
Crime or Incident: Evading, DUI and Violation of a Restraining Order
Location: 2000 block of Turquoise Circle North, Chino Hills
Suspect: Tabea Johnson, 42 years old

SUMMARY
On Sunday, November 22, 2015, at approximately 7:54 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 2000 block of Turquoise Circle North reference a female, Tabea Johnson, who was creating a disturbance by attempting to contact a person who had a restraining order against her. When deputies arrived, they saw Johnson sitting in her car near the location. Deputies attempting to initiate a traffic stop and Johnson fled the scene leading deputies on a pursuit. The pursuit travelled through numerous neighborhoods and canyon areas of the city, covering 10 miles and lasting approximately 20 minutes. Johnson led deputies back to the original location on Turquoise where she parked her car and fled on foot. Deputies were able to apprehend Johnson as she attempted to enter a house in the neighborhood. Johnson who was found to be extremely intoxicated, was taken into custody and charged with violating a restraining order, evading and DUI. It was unclear as to why Johnson was at the location creating a disturbance.
