Murder suspect captured and in custody.
This afternoon around 4:30PM, a citizen called into the Mendocino Sheriff’s Office saying they saw murder suspect Nathan Wilson’s truck parked along Tomki Road in the Redwood Valley area of Mendocino County. Mendocino County Deputies found the truck abandoned and began to search for the suspect on foot in the area.
Soon, Ukiah Police Department contacted a man matching the description of Wilson walking down the street of town near the MendoMill. Upon contact, the man lied about his name, but the Ukiah PD Officers identified him by the California Driver’s License in his pocket.
Nathan Alexander Wilson was taken into custody without incident. He is being held in the Mendocino County Jail and awaits extradition to Sonoma County to face charges in the murder of his parents, David Wilson and Adrianne Chapin.
We are grateful for the assistance of our partners at Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office and the Ukiah Police Department in bringing this suspect into custody.
