Suspect: John Emilio Garibaldi of Gilroy
Details:
On 11/15/15 at approximately 2105 hours, Gilroy Police officers were dispatched to the 9300 block of Monterey Street on the report of a stabbing. When officers arrived on scene, they found the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds inside a residence in the area. Through the course of the investigation, officers determined the assault was centered around a domestic dispute. The victim is expected to recover.
This was not a random attack, and there is no reason to believe the general public is in immediate danger.
The suspect has been identified as John Emilio Garibaldi, DOB: 8/17/78, described as a Hispanic male, 5’6”, 180 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. A felony warrant has been issued for Garibaldi’s arrest. Anyone who sees Garibaldi should consider him armed and dangerous. The Gilroy Police Department discourages anyone from trying to take enforcement action.
