Snow is expected to move into the region tonight and Tuesday for both the mountains and the lowlands. Expect driving conditions to become potentially hazardous through the night.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY
Snow is expected to move into the region the region tonight and Tuesday and not just for the mountain passes. Snow will be possible in the valleys with potential for poor driving conditions tonight through Tuesday night. Wednesday will be dry and breezy and pose minimal impacts to travel other than patchy morning ice.
Very cold windchill readings will be possible Tuesday night into Wednesday night with many locations experiencing values in the single digits to lower teens. localized areas could observe values down to zero or below. The winds decrease Thursday but cold temperatures will linger over the region.
