Investigators with the Jackson Police Department continue to investigate the early Sunday morning shooting that occurred at 1819 Highway 45 Bypass, GoldLine.
At approximately 1:45 a.m., officers of the Jackson Police Department responded to a disturbance call at GoldLine. Prior to officers arriving on the scene, they were advised of a victim that had sustained a gunshot. The gunshot victim was located and transported by EMS to a local hospital with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.
As officers were investigating this case, they were made aware of a second gunshot victim on the parking lot of 639 Old Hickory, Burger King. This victim was transported by EMS to a local hospital with what appeared to be serious injuries.
Currently the Jackson Police Department does not have any suspect information to provide. This investigation is ongoing.
