APD arrest woman on outstanding felony warrants.
On Monday November 23rd at 2:08am, an APD officer on patrol observed a female driving a Chrysler 300 in 600 block of S Grand. The officer recognized the female driver and recalled that she had outstanding warrants for her arrest. The officer stopped the vehicle and identified the driver Jenifer Renae Fincher W/F 23 of Amarillo. Fincher had outstanding Potter County warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 over 4 grams less than 200 grams, Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 over 1 gram less than 4 grams. Fincher was also wanted out of Randall Co on a Bond Surrender Warrant on a original charge of Credit/Debit Card Abuse. Fincher was arrested on the warrants and transported to Potter County Correction Center. Upon arriving at the jail, Fincher admitted to the officer that she had a small amount of marijuana concealed inside her bra. A female jailer did recover a small container with marijuana hidden inside Fincher’s bra. Fincher was booked on the outstanding warrants, Possession of Marijuana less than 2 ounces and Possession of Narcotic Paraphernalia.
