Burglary Arrest 
(Etowah County, Alabama) An Attalla man has been arrested in connection to a recent burglary in Etowah County, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Jerry Matthew Nelson, 36, of Attalla, is charged with one count of third degree, which is a felony,” investigator Tara Bates said.
Nelson allegedly broke into a residence on Miller Hollow Road. The victim came home to find three individuals leaving the residence with stolen items. The home owner was able to positively identify Nelson as one of the suspects.
Nelson is currently being detained in the Etowah County Detention Center on $2,500 bond.
