SUMMARY:
On Thursday, November 19, 2015, Deputies Travis James and Michael Battisti of the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Stations Proactive Enforcement Unit recovered two stolen vehicles and made an arrest for possession of stolen property.

Working on an anonymous tip, Deputies James and Battisti conducted a probation check at a residence in the 9200 block of Yucca Terrace Drive in Phelan. The occupant of the residence who is currently on probation, Jared Sessler, was not home; however, deputies located a stolen, stripped 2005 Honda Civic stolen out of the City of El Monte.

Deputies then made contact at the residence of Kyler Sessler and his mother, Kelly Sessler, in the 14400 block of Melrose in Oro Grande. At the residence, deputies located a stolen 2006 Honda Motorcycle. The motorcycle had been stolen out of Barstow on November 4, 2015 during a residential burglary. During the investigation, deputies determined Kyler and his brother Jared were responsible for the burglary at the residence in Barstow.

Kyler Sessler was arrested for possession of stolen property, burglary and vehicle theft and booked at the High Desert Detention Center. He is currently being held in lieu of 90,000.00. Kelly Sessler was arrested for warrants and booked at the High Desert Detention Center.

Jared Sessler is currently outstanding and deputies are asking for the communities’ assistance in locating him. Anyone with information is urged to contact Deputies Travis James or Michael Battisti at (760) 552-6800 or call Sheriff’s Dispatch at (760)245-4211.
