Five Pounds of Suspected Marijuana Found during Traffic Stop in Morgan County
Morgan County—This afternoon at 2:41, Indiana State Police Trooper Yan Dravigne of the Putnamville Post, stopped a black Ford pickup for an unsafe lane movement in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 near the 52 mile marker. During conversations with the driver, Dravigne noticed possible indicators of criminal activity. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of five pounds of suspected marijuana in the cargo area of the truck. The driver was arrested and transported to the Morgan County Jail. The contraband was allegedly en route to the east coast.
Arrested: Alan Wamsganz, age 63, of Avondale, Colorado
Charges: Dealing Marijuana, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Assisting were ISP Troopers James Wells and Brad Smith.

Under the Law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
