On Thursday November 19th at 5:40pm, APD officers made a report of a stolen vehicle in the 1900 block of Howard. The stolen vehicle is a grey 2009 Chevrolet Impala. At approximately 8:30pm the APD officer that made the initial report located the stolen vehicle in the Executive Inn at 2100 block of S Coulter. Officers were able to come up with a female as possible suspect in the stolen vehicle however she did not rent a room at the hotel. Another officer then began checking some social media sites and located a male acquaintance that she might be staying with. Before checking the motel room, officers located the subject in the courtyard of the motel. The female is identified as Jessica Ellen Anderson W/F 25. Anderson did have an outstanding felony probation warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Officers obtained a search warrant for the motel room and recovered several pieces of identification (mail, SS #, ID’s) along with narcotic paraphernalia. Anderson was arrested for the outstanding warrant and for the Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. The vehicle was returned to the owner. This incident remains under investigation.
