UPDATE: Early morning fire affecting traffic and power in the area of Roosevelt School

Euclid between McGarvey and Upton is now open. Fire is still on scene investigating. Power is still out on the 2100 block of Euclid. Roosevelt school power was not affected.

Police and Fire responded to a backyard fire this morning on the 2100 block of Euclid ave. Although the fire was contained quickly it managed to move along the power lines causing several power issues in the area.
Power has been shut off in the area at this time. Roosevelt School has power And school will be in session. The 2100 block of Euclid is closed and traffic will be delayed in the area of Upton between Madison and Roosevelt.
Please drive carefully in the area as this will be affecting school drop offs this morning. There are also several fire hoses on the ground. Pleas do not drive over the hoses or through any closed off roadway.
