NEAR WARDEN, Wash. (16NOV2015) –Two men, one armed with a knife and the other a gun, reportedly robbed a man at a dairy near Warden early this morning. The suspects made away with approximately $300 cash and the victim’s cell phone. The victim was not injured and the suspects are still at large.
At approximately 2:00am this morning, GCSO deputies responded to a report of a robbery at a dairy in rural Grant County south of Warden, WA. The victim told deputies that while he was working, two men, both wearing dark clothing, masks, and gloves, came up behind him and one suspect, armed with a gun, pressed it into the victim’s back. The victim then said the other suspect, armed with a knife, held it to the victim’s neck while they walked out to his vehicle where the victim retrieved his wallet containing $300. The suspect with the gun stayed in the dairy looking for other employees.
Prior to leaving, the suspects demanded and threw the victim’s car keys to prevent him from following them. Along with the cash, the suspects also took the victim’s cell phone. The suspects then fled in an unknown direction on foot.
Deputies canvassed the area, but did not discover any physical evidence.
One of the suspects is described as a 6'2" Hispanic male and the other was only described as a shorter Hispanic male.
