Joseph M Underwood reports that his Deputies responded to a personal injury traffic crash in Wayne Township, Cass County Michigan.
On 11/14/2015 at about 0413 Cass County Deputies responded to a crash that took place on Lake Shore Drive in Wayne Township. Deputies arrived on scene and observed a single vehicle crash into a large tree in Twin Lakes. A 20 year old Dowagiac man was transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital by ambulance for his injuries. A 20 year old Dowagiac woman was transported by Med Flight to South Bend Memorial Hospital for her injuries.

Seatbelt use as well as Alcohol use appear to be a factor in this crash, which remains under investigation.

Deputies were assisted at the scene by Pride Care Ambulance, Wayne Township Fire Department and Med Flight.
