Individuals attempting to collect payment for missed court date warrant.This is a phone scam- do not respond. TCSO is not involved. 
An individual or individuals have been calling local residents and posing as Deputies with the "Tippecanoe County Sheriff`s Department warrants and citations division"; these people are alleging that individuals have failed to appear for witness trial or jury selection. Further, they are telling you that there is a warrant out for your arrest and that, in order to avoid arrest, you need to obtain a "Green Dot" prepaid card (or other form of payment) for the amount "owed" regarding the outstanding warrant.
THIS IS A SCAM and the Tippecanoe County Sheriff`s Office (TCSO) is not involved in any way and is not making these calls.
