Full Notification

I-70 west bound remains closed at SR1, the 137 mile marker, due to a multiple vehicle crash in the area of the 127 mile marker.  At this time there have been 6 patients flown to various hospitals in the Indianapolis area by medical helicopter. 

The west bound side of I-70 will be closed for an undetermined amount of time, possibly hours, as troopers investigate the crash and crews work to remove vehicles from the scene. Motorists should avoid the area. There have been no reported fatalities at this time.
