HCSO: Team Avengers and Sheriff Hickman to go "Over the Edge!" 
HARRIS COUNTY, TX – Sheriff Ron Hickman and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office will go "Over the Edge" in support of Special Olympics Texas, Friday.
During the two-day event team HCSO Avengers will rappel 20 stories down the side of the Embassy Suites Hotel at 1515 Dallas Street.
Sheriff Ron Hickman will repel with members of the HCSO High Risk Operations Unit following a VIP reception on Friday.
Special Olympics Texas is a privately funded non-profit organization that provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

On Saturday, members of the general public will be following the HCSO Avengers' lead by raising a minimum donation to Special Olympics to follow Sheriff Hickman “Over the Edge.”
