Dearborn, MI. — The Dearborn Police Department is currently investigating a number of Home Invasions that have taken place within its borders and in several surrounding communities. In these incidents, the suspect enters the homes with the intent of committing a sexual assault.
These Home Invasions have taken place in the early morning hours and entry has been made through unlocked ground floor entry points. These incidents are believed to be related and date back a number of years. The suspect is described as an unknown race male, approximately 6’ tall with a thin build.
Dearborn PD along with several surrounding agencies, to include Allen Park, Dearborn Heights, Inkster, Redford and Garden City are currently working to identify and arrest the suspect.
Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad states “our citizens must remain vigilant in securing their homes paying particular attention to first floor entry access points to include windows, doors and door walls.
