INCIDENT: SERIOUS INJURY TRAFFIC COLLISION

On Nov 12, 2015 at about 7 pm, Pomona Police Officers responded to the intersection of Mission Bl and Gibbs St regarding a report of an injury traffic collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. Los Angeles County Fire Department Paramedics treated a female pedestrian at the scene that sustained severe traumatic injury. She was airlifted to a trauma center for further treatment. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. The collision is being investigated by the Pomona Police Department's Major Accident Investigation Team.
