The Palos Verdes Half Marathon will be hold this Saturday, 11-14-2015 from approximately 6AM through 11 AM. 
The Palos Verdes Half Marathon will be hold this Saturday, 11-14-2015 from approximately 6AM through 11 AM. There will be intermittent traffic closures in the area.
A total estimate of 1000 participants (runners) are expected to participate in the Palos Verdes Half Marathon. This influx of pedestrians (runners) is expected to last approximately 5 hours (0600-1100 hours). It is also expected that once the marathon begins there will be an additional influx of spectators cheering for the marathon participants. The total estimate of spectators is approximately 100 that will most likely border the course.
Please avoid the area. If you live in the neighborhoods affected by the road closures, please be patient and follow the instructions of Officers at traffic control points. Street parking will be posted and restricted along the route. Expect extended delays.
