Multiple search warrants were executed at illegally operated medical marijuana dispensaries

LOCATION: 10000 block of Foothill Boulevard Rancho Cucamonga
SUSPECT(S): Yaser Habbas 19 year old male from Fontana
Joseph Egan 32 year old male from San Bernardino
Jaime Munoz 28 year old male from Los Angeles
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On November 11, 2015, at approximately 9:30 a.m., deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department’s Solution Oriented Policing team (SOP) and members of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Marijuana Enforcement Team (MET) executed multiple search warrants at locations linked to a medical marijuana dispensary operating illegally in the city of Rancho Cucamonga.
Deputies located and seized large amounts of processed marijuana, marijuana edibles, U.S. currency, handgun and a loaded .308 caliber assault rifle. The City of Rancho Cucamonga’s Building and Safety assisted SOP in this extensive investigation. Several building and safety code violations were identified, and one location was red tagged for safety concerns.
Upon the completion of the search warrants, Yaser Habbas, Joseph Egan, and Jaime Munoz were arrested for PC 11359 Possession of Marijuana for Sale and PC 30605(a) Possession of an Assault Rifle. Habbas, Egan, and Munoz were booked at the West Valley Detention Center. Their Bond was set at $50,000.
