Sonoma County Sheriff's Office arrest four gang members - one with a loaded pistol
On November 11, 2015 at about 9:25 PM, a Sonoma County Deputy Sheriff was on patrol in the Santa Rosa area, traveling Southbound on Hwy 101 near the Hearn Avenue exit. He saw two vehicles speeding, dangerously changing lanes and recklessly chasing each other.
The Deputy caught up to one of the cars as it took the Rohnert Park Expressway exit. When he tried to pull it over, the driver slowly weaved through a parking lot without stopping immediately. There were four people inside the car so the Deputy called for back-up as he approached.
The Deputy noticed that the male driver, Daniel Crozier, was very nervous and smelled of alcohol and marijuana. All of the occupants of the car were wearing gang attire. As he spoke with Crozier, the passenger, Dominic Brown, was trying to hide something. Soon the other Deputies arrived to assist and the men were removed from the car. A Deputy from the MAGNET unit arrived and recognized all the men as active gang members.
Dominic William Brown, 18 of Santa Rosa, had a loaded, semi-automatic pistol hidden on him. He was arrested and booked into jail for carrying a loaded firearm in public, being a gang member carrying a gun, and carrying a concealed weapon while being an active participant in a criminal street gang, conspiracy and a gang enhancement. His bail was set at $100,000. It wasn’t immediately known if the pistol was stolen, but it did not belong to anyone in our local area.
Pedro Giovanni Segoviano, 20 of Santa Rosa, had an outstanding felony domestic violence warrant and was arrested for that, being an active participant in a criminal street gang, conspiracy and a gang enhancement. He was booked into Sonoma County Jail and his bail was set at $55,000. He is scheduled to appear before a judge on November 13 at 1:30.
Montanez David Moreno, 22 of Santa Rosa, was arrested and booked into Sonoma County Jail for being an active participant in a criminal street gang and conspiracy. He was booked into Sonoma County Jail and he later produced the $25,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear before a judge on November 17 at 8:30.
Daniel Lester Crozier, 22 of Santa Rosa, was arrested for DUI, obstructing a peace officer, being an active participant in a criminal street gang, conspiracy and a gang enhancement. He was booked into Sonoma County Jail and he later produced the bail $35,000. He is scheduled to appear before a judge on November 17 at 8:30.
