The U.S. Highway 75 widening project is underway in Fairview and will affect some of the ramps residents use to access the highway and access roads. The Ridgeview Drive off-ramp from northbound U.S. 75 is now closed as it is being converted to an on-ramp. The northbound on-ramp near Whole Foods  in the Village at Fairview will eventually close, as it will be converted to an off-ramp that will allow access to both Ridgeview Drive as well as Fairview Village Road. TxDOT estimates that these new ramps will be completed in July 2016. Fairview residents will need to exit at Stacy Road for Ridgeview Drive access from northbound U.S. 75. Ridgeview Drive remains open and accessible from the U.S. Highway 75 access road, only the northbound off-ramp for Ridgeview Drive is closed. The widening of the Stacy Road Bridge is currently anticipated to be competed near the end of February 2016. The entire $50 million U.S. Highway 75 widening project TxDOT has projected will be complete by September 2016.
