Oakland Police Department Homicide Investigators announce the arrest of Joevan Lopez who they believe is responsible for the fatal shooting of ice cream vendor Jarvis Singh, 45, on October 3, 2015 at 4:31PM, in the 9300 block of Peach Street.
BACKGROUND: On Saturday, October 3, 2015, just after 4:31PM, officers responded to the 9300 block of Peach Street on a report of a shooting. When officers arrived on scene they located ice cream vendor Jarvis Singh who had been fatally shot. Medical personnel pronounced Singh deceased at the scene.
