The administrative offices of the Sheriff's Office will be closed Wednesday for Veterans Day; no gun permits will be issued 
The administrative offices of the McDowell County Sheriff's Office will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 11 in observance of Veterans Day. No gun permits will be issued. The offices will reopen at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.
Please take a moment Wednesday to remember and honor those who have served and are still serving our country and fighting for our freedom!
