Update-Police respond to help a citizen who alleged that he was assaulted by an individual that he knows who demanded money from him. 
Shortly after 7:00 PM the Sheboygan Police and Fire Departments responded to help an injured citizen. The citizen told us that he had been assaulted by a person that he has known for a year and that the suspect threatened to hurt him if he didn't give him/her money. The reporter was given medical attention for non-life threatening injuries. The injuries were not from a weapon. Police are searching for a couple of parties believed to have knowledge of the event and the suspect in this case. Police do not have any knowledge to believe that the suspect is responsible for any other crimes at this time.
Update---A 24 year old Sheboygan woman and a 23 year old Sheboygan man were jailed on felony charges related to this incident. Police are not seeking any other suspects in this case but continue to investigate the incident. At this time no other parties are believed to be responsible for assaulting the victim in this case.
