ROBBERY
On Thursday, Oct. 29th, Ofc. Rivas was dispatched to a late-reported robbery that had occurred on Monday, Oct. 26th, in the area of 7th St. & Decoto Rd. The victim said he was walking to work around 10:45 p.m., when he was approached by two black males who were about 5’8” tall. They were both wearing black hoodies and dark clothes. One of the suspects struck him in the forehead and rendered him unconscious for about 15 minutes. When he woke up, his backpack, wallet and phone were stolen.

GRAND THEFT
On Monday, Oct. 26th, around 11 a.m., PSO Ramos was dispatched to the 30000 block of Ahern Ave. on reports of a theft. The victim left his iPhone on the seat of an unlocked vehicle for less than five minutes. When he returned, the phone was gone.

On Friday, Oct. 30th, around 10:45 p.m., Ofc. Olson was dispatched to the 35500 block of Monterra Terrace for a reported petty theft. The victim said she observed a male suspect, about 18-25 years old, taking items out of her unlocked vehicle. She confronted him, but he fled. Based on the total value of the stolen items, the incident was determined to be a grand theft.

BURGLARIES AND CAR THEFTS

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
From Monday, Oct. 26th through Sunday, Nov. 1st, there were four reported residential burglaries and two attempts:
• 33200 block of Condor Dr.: Occurred between Sunday, Oct. 25th at 3:30 p.m., and Monday, Oct. 26th at 7:50 a.m. A window had been unlocked while the residence was tented for fumigation. The residence was ransacked, and the loss is unknown at this time.
• 34800 block of 11th St.: Occurred between Saturday, Sept. 26th at 12 a.m., and Monday, Oct. 26th at 9:15 a.m. Unknown entry into a storage unit; the loss included a bicycle and car tire.
• 33300 block of Mission Blvd.: Occurred on Saturday, Oct. 31st, between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. An unknown suspect stole eight pairs of jeans from the laundry room.
• 5600 block of Pacific Grove Way: Occurred on Saturday, Oct. 31st, between 8 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. The rear sliding glass door was left unlocked. The loss included a Chanel purse and jewelry.
• 32400 block of Seaside Dr. (attempt only): Occurred on Saturday, Oct. 31st, between 8:20 p.m. and 8:35 p.m. A rear window and sliding glass door were smashed, but the entry was obstructed. There was no loss.
• 4400 block of Corto Monterey (attempt only): Occurred on Sunday, Nov. 1st, between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. The front door was kicked in, but nothing appeared to be missing.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARIES
From Monday, Oct. 26th through Sunday, Nov. 1st, there was one reported commercial burglary:
• 4400 block of Horner St.: Occurred sometime over the last three months. Unknown entry into a storage unit; the loss included camping equipment.

AUTO BURGLARIES AND VEHICLE THEFTS
From Monday, Oct. 26th through Sunday, Nov. 1st, there were three reported auto burglaries and one interrupted burglary attempt. In the interrupted attempt, the suspects and vehicle were described as follows: Two black male adults about 30 years old; one was 5’5” to 5’6” and 180 lbs. They fled in a silver Mazda 4D with yellow paper plates and tinted windows. Safety Tip: As a reminder, never leave items of value inside your vehicle!

From Monday, Oct. 26th through Sunday, Nov. 1st, there were seven reported vehicle thefts. As of the time of this report, five of the vehicles have been recovered.
