Sonoma County Sheriff Coroner’s Office is releasing the name of the person who was killed in a logging accident on the afternoon of November 4, 2015 on Mill Creek Road, in the Dry Creek area outside of Healdsburg, in the unincorporated area of Sonoma County.
The deceased is identified as Alan Eugene Mohr, a 61 year old man from Point Arena, CA. His family was located and informed of his death.
The Sonoma County Coroner’s Office will schedule a forensic pathologist to conduct an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of Mohr’s death.
Because this is considered an industrial or workplace fatal incident, the Division of Occupational Safety and Health, better known as Cal/OSHA, was notified. Any inquires related to their involvement should be directed to that office.
