Starke County-The Indiana State Police were called to investigate a police action shooting in Starke County that involved North Judson and Starke County Sheriff’s Police Departments.
Preliminary investigation revealed both departments responded to a residence south of North Judson in rural Starke County for a domestic disturbance, at approximately 11:45 a.m., today, November 3rd, 2015. After encountering a male subject, at that residence, a fight ensued with the police officers and that subject was shot.
The male was airlifted to Memorial Hospital in South Bend with non-life threatening injuries at this time. No police officer was injured.
Investigation is ongoing and further information will be forthcoming when available.
