One Vehicle Crash Backs up Traffic on I-70

One Vehicle crash backs up traffic on I-70

Wayne County- This afternoon around 11:23 a.m., Troopers responded to the area of I-70 westbound around the 156 mile marker for a one vehicle crash.  The crash was originally reported as a personal injury crash with entrapment.  When they arrived they found a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado in the median.

Preliminary investigation indicates the 2011 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Jon A. Myers, of Sheboygan Falls, WI, was westbound on I-70 when he lost control of his vehicle.  The 2011 Chevrolet Silverado, which was hauling a camper trailer, struck the guard rail on the left side of the road, and ended up in the median of I-70.

Even though the crash was reported as a personal injury crash, once Troopers arrived at the scene, they determined there were no injuries.  There was also no entrapment.

The Indiana State Police were assisted at the scene by Wayne County Sheriff's Department and Richmond Fire Department.
