Receiving Stolen Property/Theft by Deception Arrest 
(Etowah County, Alabama) A Hokes Bluff man was arrested and charged in connection to a recent theft of property in Calhoun County, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Edward Robert Holliday, 35, of Hokes Bluff, was arrested October 26, and is charged with one count of first degree receiving stolen property and one count of second degree theft by deception, both are felonies,” investigator Jeremy Lasseter said.
Holliday and Adrian Nickey Jenkins allegedly sold a stolen 2008, zero turn John Deere lawn mower to an elderly couple. The lawn mower had been stolen from Calhoun County. It has been recovered and returned to the rightful owner.
Holliday is currently being held in the Etowah County Detention Center on $7,500 bond.
