WCPD seeking information on similar type robberies .

DATE OF RELEASE: October 29, 2015

On Thursday morning, October 29, 2015 at 6:10 am, a 36 year old male victim entered his vehicle which was parked in the carport in the 700 block of N Sunset Ave when he was approached by two suspects. One was pointing a handgun at him and demanded his wallet, phone and laptop. The suspects took the property, entered a light colored vehicle which was parked behind the victim vehicle and fled the location.

Suspect 1 – Male Hispanic, 25-30 years old, 5’5-5’6, 150 lbs, thin build, black hair wearing a black hoodie armed with a handgun. Suspect 2 – Male Hispanic, no further description

Later Thursday morning, at about 7:20 am, a male 71 year old victim was walking along 1600 block of Doublegrove near Grenoble when a newer model light colored midsize sedan drove up. The male suspect was seated in the driver seat and pointed a handgun at the victim demanding his wallet. When the victim said he did not have any property with him, the passenger suspect exited the vehicle and searched the victim’s pockets. Finding nothing, the suspect reentered the vehicle which drove off eastbound on Grenoble out of sight. No property taken.

Suspect 1 – (Driver) Male Hispanic, 20-30 yrs, 5’8-5’10, 150-160 lbs, med build, black hair, brown eyes wearing a t-shirt armed with a handgun
Suspect 2 – (Passenger) Male Hispanic, 20-30 yrs, 5’8-5’10, 200 lbs, black hair, brown eyes wearing a black Raider shirt.

These two robberies closely match two cases which were reported yesterday.

On Wednesday morning, October 28, 2015 at about 7:20 am, a 51 year old female victim entered her parked vehicle located to the rear of 1300 block of E. Fairgrove when she noticed a light colored 4 door vehicle had stopped beside her. She then heard a male voice at her driver side window demanding her purse. The victim hit her horn causing the suspect to return to his vehicle, driven by another suspect. The vehicle then fled west toward Lark Ellen out of sight. No weapon seen, and no property was taken.

Suspect 1 – Male, 20-30 yrs, 160-180 lbs, 5’9 – 5’10, black hair, brown eyes wearing a white shirt.
Suspect 2 – (driver) Unknown description

Later Wednesday morning at 8:00 am, a 19 year old male victim was standing by his parked vehicle in the parking lot of Shadow Oak Park, 2121 E Shadow Oak Drive when a gray 4 door vehicle pulled up. Two suspects exited the vehicle and approached the victim asking what time it was. One suspect lifted his shirt displaying a handgun in his waistband and demanded the victim’s wallet and cash. The suspects then ordered the victim to the ground and then fled in the vehicle onto Shadow Oak Drive.

Suspect 1 – Male Hispanic in his 20’s, 5’9, 170 lbs, black hair, brown eyes wearing a white shirt, dark shorts armed with a handgun. Suspect 2 – Male Hispanic in his 20’s, 5’10, 150 lbs, thin build, black hair, unknown color eyes, wearing a black sweater and blue jean pants.

None of the victims were injured.

These suspects are considered armed and dangerous. Should you see or encounter these suspects, do not attempt to apprehend. Dial 9-1-1.
