New Castle Couple Arrested On Felony Charges

New Castle – A New Castle couple was arrested and charged with multiple felony charges last evening after a search warrant was served on their apartment. The search warrant was the result of an ongoing investigation by the Pendleton District Meth Suppression Squad, Indiana State Parole Officers and the Henry County Drug Task Force.

Around 9:50 p.m. last night State Troopers from the Pendleton District, along with the Shirley Police Department K-9 Unit, served a search warrant on a residence at 2008 Broad St., Apartment #4.  As a result of that warrant and search, a Charles Peck, age 41, and Shannon Horne, age 39, were arrested and charged with multiple felony charges.

The two were lodged in the Henry County Jail charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Level 5 Felony; Possession of the Precursors used in the Manufacture of Methamphetamine, Level 6 Felony; Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Level 6 Felony and Possession of a Hypodermic Needle, Level 6 Felony.

Officers were assisted in their investigation by the Henry County Prosecutor’s Office. Anyone with information about illegal drug use is encouraged to call the Pendleton Post at 1-800-527-4752, or the Indiana State Police Drug Tip Line at 1-800-453-4756. Tips can be made and kept anonymous.
