Earlier today a resident reported that she had been informed of a male subject calling residences and telling the home owners that he needed to come by their residence and conduct an inspection on their home that was required by law. One resident advised the caller that she did not believe him and she would call the police. He then told the resident he was a police officer. A short time later he hung up on the resident. There are no residential inspections that police are required by law to conduct. If you receive one of these calls do not allow this person to come to your home and advise police immediately.

Another resident reported that she recently had work done to her home that she rents. Today a male subject arrived at her residence and advised her that he was sent by the land-lord to conduct some window repairs. He did not access the residence and did no repairs. He later advised the resident he did not have the equipment needed and left the area. When she contacted the land-lord he advised her that he had not sent anyone to the residence for repairs. The male subject was described as a clean cut white male possibly in his early 40's with brown hair and possibly facial hair. He was driving white pick up unknown make or model.
