*Arrest Made* Detectives Responded to the 36000 Blk of Paradise Ranch Rd, Castaic to Inv Susp Circs Death of a Woman
A woman, whose suspicious death occurred at a residence in the 36000 block of Paradise Ranch Road in Castaic, on Saturday, October 24, 2015, has been identified as Nicole Danielson, a 26 year-old White female. An autopsy this morning revealed the cause of death to be blunt force trauma to the head.
Her husband, Robert Danielson, a 29 year-old White male, has been arrested in connection to her death.
On Saturday, October 24, 2015, following Nicole’s death, Robert Danielson was cooperative with homicide detectives. He agreed to an interview and after being questioned by detectives, was arrested that Saturday evening. Robert Danielson was booked for murder at Palmdale Station and is being held in lieu of one million dollars bail.
The couple’s children, ages three and one, are currently in the care of family members.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a female adult that was discovered Saturday, October 24, 2015, at approximately 8:38 am, in the 36000 block of Paradise Ranch Road, Castaic.
Detectives have learned that Santa Clarita Station deputies responded to the location regarding a female adult in her 20’s, who was found unresponsive by her husband. The husband called 9-1-1 due to her non-responsive condition.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The victim suffered physical trauma to her upper torso, but it is unknown if her injuries are related to her cause of death.
The cause of death will be determined by an autopsy which will be conducted at a later date.
No arrests have been made, and there is no suspect information at this time.
There is no additional information at this time and the investigation is on-going.
