Sonoma County Sheriff Coroner’s Office is releasing the name of the person who died in the motorcycle crash on the morning of October 26, 2015 on Highway 101 in Petaluma.
The deceased is identified as Lucas Frederick Gallanty, a 31 year old man from Rohnert Park. His family was located and informed of his death.
The Sonoma County Coroner’s Office will schedule an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of Gallanty’s death.
The California Highway Patrol is the lead agency and will be conducting the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the vehicle collision.
