Vehicle Break-Ins Reported 
The Fayette County Sheriff's Office would like to remind everyone to keep valuables out of sight while their vehicle is parked. Keep items such as purses, book bags, briefcases and electronics with you while you are away from your car.
Deputies have responded to vehicle break-ins at McCurry Park off McDonough Road and one at Kiwanis Park off Redwine Road in the last week.
Other popular locations may be a gym, your daycare or church. Criminals target these locations since they know the driver will be away from their vehicle for at least a few minutes and often leave purses and electronic devices behind.
Vehicle break-ins also occur in residential areas (often overnight) and these criminals target unlocked cars.
