Two charged with breaking into home and stealing $2,850 worth of property 
Detective Lynn Greene of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Revonda Jane Harris, 46, of Greasy Creek Road in Marion, and Jessica Dawn Morgan, 26, of Logan Street in Old Fort, with felony breaking and entering and felony larceny after breaking and entering.
Greene said the two broke into the home of an acquaintance, Doug Shelton, of French Mountain Drive in Marion, on March 3 and stole $2,850 worth of property, including cash, a pocket knife, two firearms and accessories, fire logs, a radio, a cordless drill set and an electronic tablet.
A portion of the property was recovered.
