Artesia Students participate in Red Ribbon Youth Workshop 
Students from Artesia and surrounding schools participated in the annual Red Ribbon Youth Workshop at Artesia Park. STAR Deputies and Transportation Deputy Glenn Valverde hosted classes to educate children on the dangers that drugs can cause. An inmate transportation bus was utilized as one of the classrooms to show students how drug users are transported. The students then gave presentations on the dangers of drugs.
