Street closure this weekend for Fall Crafts Festival 
Motorists should be aware that this weekend, several streets in downtown Danville will be closed for the annual Fall Crafts Festival.
Maintenance crews will begin the closure at 2am on Oct 24. The closure will last until 11pm on Oct 25.
The main closure will be Hartz Avenue from Diablo Road to Hartz Way. Cross streets such as School Street, Church Street and Prospect Avenue will have partial closures as well.
Traffic will be able to use Railroad Avenue and Front Street at detours around the north-south closure of Hartz Ave.
For those interested in attending this weekend's event, festivities will be going on from 10 - 5 pm both days. A shuttle service will be running between the Park and Ride on Sycamore Valley Road and the downtown.
