Thanks to the public’s assistance, the Santa Maria Police Department along with the Compliance Response Team located and arrested 44-year-old Matt Crandall today, October 22, without incident in the City of Santa Maria. Crandall was booked at the Santa Barbara County Jail on a no bail warrant for violating the terms and conditions of his Post Release Community Supervision.
The Santa Maria Police Department and the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office are continuing their investigations into Crandall’s possible connection and involvement with a stolen Habitat for Humanity truck and other recent thefts.
