Oakland, CA — The Oakland Police Department would like to make the public aware of a sexual assault that occurred on October 15, 2015.
On October 15, 2015, at about 2:00 AM, a female victim reported that while she was walking in the 1200 block of 82nd Avenue, she was approached from behind by a stranger who pulled her to the ground. The suspect physically and sexually assaulted her and then fled the scene on foot.
The suspect is described as an African American male, 20-29 years of age, 5’10”, 200 pounds, dark complexion, dark hair, with a mustache and beard. He was last seen wearing a T-Shirt and jeans.
Investigators are working with the victim regarding a possible sketch.
Crime Stoppers of Oakland is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest in this case.
