Sonoma County Sheriff Coroner’s Office is releasing the name of the man who was discovered deceased in the Russian River, beneath water at the Geyserville Bridge, in the unincorporated area of Sonoma County, on the afternoon of October 19, 2015.
The deceased is identified as Nicolas Rodriguez Ruiz, 58 years old from Geyserville. His family was located and informed of his death.
The Sonoma County Coroner’s Office will schedule a forensic pathologist to conduct an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of Ruiz’ death.
