Infrastructure upgrades to drainage on Sea Girt Ave will start tomorrow, Tuesday October 20th. Please expect delays and detours on Washington Blvd and Sea Girt Ave west of The Plaza. Construction crews will work to install new drainage on Sea Girt Ave between NJ Transit railroad and Bell Place. Eastbound Sea Girt Ave will remain open throughout the day, however westbound Washington Blvd will be detoured onto The Plaza, north on Sixth Ave, west on Beacon Blvd, then onto State Highway 71. Please expect delays and avoid the area if at all possible. Bell Place southbound will also be detoured west onto Crescent Place. Please expect the heaviest of delays from 3pm-4pm daily as the New Jersey National Guard Training Center dismisses for the day. Please obey 25 MPH speed limits on detoured roads and use caution exiting onto State Highway 71/Beacon Blvd. Thank you for your patience and understanding
