Public Assistance Requested to Help Locate Wanted Suspect Associated with Stolen Habitat for Humanity Truck

The Compliance Response Team (CRT) is requesting public assistance to help locate a wanted suspect. 44-year-old Matt Crandall of Santa Maria has a warrant for his arrest for violating the terms of his Post Release Community Supervision.
Yesterday, October 14, Santa Maria Police officers were called to an address on Palm Court regarding suspicious activity. When officers arrived, two suspects were detained but Crandall fled the scene on foot.
During the investigation, it was discovered Crandall and the two suspects arrested were in possession of a stolen truck which belonged to Habitat for Humanity. The vehicle was stolen on October 13 from the 6800 block of Cortona Drive in the City of Goleta. The truck contained numerous stolen items from an area business.
35-year-old Sabrina Ceglia and 32-year-old Travis Grant, both of Santa Maria, were booked at the Santa Barbara County Jail on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of stolen property, burglary and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
If you have any information regarding Crandall or his whereabouts, you are encouraged to call your local law enforcement agency or the Sheriff’s Office at 805-683-2724. To leave an anonymous tip, please call 805-681-4171.
