On Columbus Day (October 12, 2015) several vehicles in the City of Montebello were issued parking citations for parking during restricted times/days, specifically street sweeping days/hours. Although street sweeping did take place on October 12, 2015 the City of Montebello webpage indicated that street sweeping citations would not be issued on Columbus Day, October 12, 2015 (the webpage has since been corrected). This was an error on the webpage and therefore the citations issued for parking during restricted times/days, specifically street sweeping days/hours, on October 12, 2015 are hereby dismissed in the interest of justice. If you received a parking citation on the aforementioned date for the aforementioned violation you may disregard the citation. No further action on your part will be necessary. All other parking violations issued on October 12, 2015 remain valid until proven otherwise and should be remitted as per the instructions on the citation.
