Armed Robbery and Apprehension of Suspects, Verizon Wireless 9939 Wicker Ave 
On October 12th, at approximately 7:30PM an armed robbery was reported at Verizon Wireless, 9939 Wicker Ave. After a brief manhunt, two suspects were taken into custody; property taken in the crime was recovered, as well as a firearm used in the crime.
The investigation is ongoing and more details will be released later today after charges are filed. No further information will be released or available until charges are filed at the Prosecutor’s Office.
Cedar Lake Police, Crown Point Police, Dyer Police, Lake County Sheriff, and the Schererville Police were involved in the search and apprehension of the suspects.
