Scott Chandler, City Engineer for the City of Jackson, has authorized the temporary road closure of all lanes of Lane Avenue, from Middleton to Hays from 6:45 a.m., Saturday, October 17, 2015 until 11:00 p.m. for Lane College Homecoming activities.
The Lane College Homecoming Parade has a new route this year.
The route is as follows:
Depart Lane College Campus at 8:30 a.m. on Lane Avenue to Hays Avenue;
South on Hays Avenue to Lexington Avenue;
West on Lexington Avenue, Cross over Royal Street;
Continue on College Street to Highland Avenue;
South on Highland Avenue to Main Street;
East on Main Street to Lane Field;
End at Lane Field.
