The Sheriff’s Office is releasing the names of the two decedents who were found inside a Los Olivos home this morning. They are 45-year-old Kimberly Lannette Hamilton of Los Olivos and 50-year-old Gregg Todd Hamilton of Santa Ynez. The case is still under investigation but at this point all indications are that this was a murder-suicide. Kimberly Hamilton suffered an apparent gunshot wound and Gregg Hamilton suffered an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The Sheriff’s Office is in the process of determining what led to this tragic incident. There were no calls for service at this residence in recent history. Due to the active investigation, this is all the information that will be released at this time.
